Does Convos cost anything to get started? Is there a trial period?

No. Every new Convos user starts with the Intro plan and there is no trial period expiration to worry about. Upgrade when you need to join more groups, manage more groups, or store more in your MyConvos Photos & Files.

Can I create groups with the Intro plan?
|
|
Yes, you can administrate or moderate one group with the Intro plan. When you create a group, you are the group administrator.
|

Can I upgrade individual groups without upgrading my personal plan?
|
|
Yes, you can upgrade or "sponsor" any group for which you are a group administrator. The Intro plan allows you to be the group administrator of one group. You can upgrade this group at any time without having to upgrade your personal plan.

How do I upgrade my personal plan? A group?
|
To upgrade your personal plan, click the "Account" button on the top right of the Convos interface. The tab titled "My Convos Plan" shows your current plan and available plans. Simply click "Change Plan" and we'll walk you through adding your credit card and upgrading.
To upgrade a group, select the group and click the "Upgrade" button located in the group administration panel on the bottom left of the Convos interface.

What types of payment do you accept?
|
|
We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. Once your credit card has been approved, you can use it to upgrade your personal plan and any group where you are an administrator.

Are credit card transactions secure?
|
|
Yes. All billing related transactions pass through our secure gateway. We use VeriSign's 128-bit encryption certificates to make sure all transaction data is secure.

If I upgrade, is there a long term commitment?
|
|
No. When you upgrade your personal account or sponsor a group, you are charged the monthly rate for that upgrade. In 30 days, Convos will automatically charge you for the next 30 days unless you decide to downgrade to a free plan.

Can I downgrade my personal plan or any group that I sponsor?
|
|
Yes. You can initiate a downgrade any time you like. When you initiate a downgrade, you will remain at your current level until your next billing date. All you'll need to do is make sure your account or group is within the limits of the desired plan before your next billing date. We'll let you know if you are above these limits three days prior to your billing date and then again one day prior.

What happens if I upgrade my personal plan today and a group in 2 weeks?
|
|
Once you upgrade your personal plan, you will be charged the monthly rate of the plan and your next billing date will be set at 30 days from today. When you upgrade the group, you will be charged the prorated amount of the upgrade based on your next billing date.
|
|
|
Can another group administrator take over a group upgrade?
|
|
Yes. If another group administrator decides to replace you as the sponsor, you will receive a refund for the unused portion that you paid for. The new group sponsor will be charged based on their own billing period.
